Great place to stay for a wedding at the hall.
Positive: It was a great location for a wedding at the hall. Facilities were good and a clean property. Loads of parking available, and lovely having peacocks pop round to watch you cook breakfast. Ha ha
Negative: Very confusing that the place is called St Peter’s cottage not Breckland cottage, I messaged about this and didn’t received a reply. The WiFi doesn’t work, the bed in the on-suite room is very very uncomfortable especially when the springs stick in you. Unfortunately 2 bad mattresses don’t make a good one.

Positive: Great location, really quiet and very comfortable.
Negative: Wifi didn't work, unable to find with 3 phones.

Nice property, but too many negatives to recommend it wholeheartedly
Positive: Very clean, quite recently built. Well furnished and equipped (apart from only one teaspoon, no egg cups, little drawer space in the bedrooms for longer stays, and bad mattresses)
Negative: Inaccurate listing: (1) The address is not 28 Station Road; it is within Hockwold Hall grounds, with parking on the same field as for the Hall. (2) The cottage is called St Peter's Cottage, not Breckland. (3) There are only two bedrooms, not three, with a sofa bed in the kitchen-diner-lounge.
The cottage is managed by Hockwold Hall, and the Hall staff, while pleasant, aren't really on top of things. Despite messaging them, I received no check-in information before arrival at the stated (wrong) address, at which point I telephoned. And there was much confusion about whether or not the cottage was booked for the following night and whether we could stay an extra night, In the end we could not, but we found five-star alternative accommodation close by at less than half the price.
The mattresses are very soft, and quite uncomfortable if you're used to more firmness.
The high cost and this list of dislikes leads me to say that it was poor value for money overall.

We were visiting Lakenheath airfield and this was an ideal stopover. Modern and clean although garden furniture needed a
Positive: Secluded and not overlooked. Very clean and all amenities you’d expect.
Negative: Confusing names and address. The cottage is actually called St Peter’s. but is advertised as Breckland Cottage. The address is also not correct.
